Port of Long Beach Application for Rehearing of Track 2 D. 21-01-018
The Port of Long Beach has been developing a microgrid for some time. They assert their concerns have been ignored and this Decision does not remove barriers.
- Decision is arbitrary, capricious, and violates SB 1339 by not reducing the barriers of Rule 18 that restrict MG’s from serving more than one entity.
- Asks for moderate changes to Rule 18; exceptions have been made before.
- Maritime transportation must be included as “critical facilities.”
