Comments on Covid Debt Scoping Ruling
Comments are focused on assistance for vulnerable communities once the Covid protections are lifted, as well as alternative funding streams to alleviate arrearages and uncollectibles.
CalCCA:
- Suggests the addition of 2 questions: (1) What kinds of state and federal funding can support customer debt relief during the COVID-19 pandemic? (2) What is an equitable way to ensure that both unbundled and bundled customers receive customer debt and arrearage relief?
TURN:
- Commission should hold Public Participation Hearings (PPHs) for customers to share their lived experiences.
