The Proposed Decision ("PD") adopts a plug-in electric vehicle ("EV") submetering protocol and requires the utilities to implement the submetering protocol for all customers with plug-in EVs and customer-owned submeters. It also adopts EV supply communication protocols and requires the utilities to qualify EV supply equipment that meet the minimum performance standards for all future transportation electrification efforts. Comments are due on July 20, 2022 and this item may be heard, at the earliest, at the Commission's August 4, 2022 Business Meeting.
