CPUC Issues D. 22-08-024 Accepting IOUs' Proposals in Plug-In Electric Vehicle Submetering Protocol

The CPUC's final decision adopts the IOUs' proposal and authorize them to open memorandum accounts in order to promote transparency in tracking specific costs related to implementing the submetering requirements. The CPUC also partially adopts the IOUs' proposal to file advice letters with implementation plans, and declined SDG&E's request to exclude discounted customers from Plug-In Electric Vehicle ("PEV") submetering.
