R. 18-07-005

Disconnections and Reconnections

This proceeding supports AB 598 (2017) to reduce the number of customer disconnections due to non-payment by eliminating deposits and reconnection fees, capping the number of disconnections allowed in certain zip codes, and introduces two new programs: an arrearage forgiveness/payment plan, (AMP) and an income-based bill payment program (PIPP).
